16 Feb 2015 Along this road we saw a family of moose. Two big ones. Two little. They wore their winter coats all shaggy and dirty from the melting snow. We were right up on them before they leaped into the forest for cover. They did not run away, though. They stood and stared at us from the forest as we drove by, our mouths wide with surprise. 0
4 Feb 2015 Across the road from Karin’s, is a barn and a house with no running water. An old lady lived there, but she died last winter, and now a couple of men have bought the place and the large parcel of land attached. They have to share with the stray cats in the yard and the family of mice in the attic. 0
