This is just off the Moon Walk on the bank of the Mississippi. You can see how the river curves. See the CBD looks like it’s on the other side of the river, but it’s not. The curve creates an illusion and also gives the city one of its nicknames: The Crescent City. There are other illusions caught in this photograph. Look here at this yellow bit, the band of red, and a flicker off the shoulder. All illusions to create a more beautiful and magical world.
