The Swedish Twin Peaks

The paper factory makes Rockhammar look a bit "Twin Peaks." What's weird is that the factory made this village a thriving community back in the day. You can still see the ghosts of that community: a broken down miniature golf course, a sports hall, an outdoor stage for traditional dancing, the 5K trail. Everybody worked in the factory. Now, only 11 people remain employed. The rest have been replaced by robots. People still live here. They commute to Frövi or Lindesberg for work. There is talk of closing down the school. Such is the way of technology. #Rockhammar #visitsweden #technology
