I spent the day compiling images into contact sheets in preparation for the Chalmetia exhibit. It’s neck killing work. Hours of repetitive motion. But, it’s important to see what we have. We’ve narrowed the image number down to 1041. Now we begin to lay them all out to see what happens.

Here’s a little tip for making contact sheets: Bring 16 images into Preview and change the layout in print options to fit 16 images on a page (that’s the max). Then, print to pdf. You’ve got yourself a contact sheet. Make sure to fiddle with the landscape and portrait options to see which one looks better in the preview.

Patrick spent the day organizing maps for location scouting on Sunday. Our feature producers Charlie and Ceyda are rolling into town in February, and we want to be prepared to show them our dark vision of Chalmetia. He’s printed out a load of maps from Google. Then, using the satellite and street views, he’s mapped out the route we’re taking on Sunday.

Tonight, we’ll be filming Lawren. She’s one of the “characters” in the Chalmetia exhibit.

That is all
